ABOUT THE TEACHERS

I am very much looking forward to beginning my 15th year of teaching at Russellville.  I spent most of my years teaching 3rd grade, but I actually started my career as a 4th grade teacher.  I am a Russellville graduate and am proud to say four generations of my family has attended Russellville.  I attended Lincoln University and William Woods for my undergrad and graduate degrees, staying pretty closed to home.

I live in Russellville with my husband Nathan and twin girls Colette and Amelia.  Your kiddos might come home with some stories about them.  I can’t help but share. My most favorite thing to do is snuggle with my girls and watch cartoons.  You may see me around town taking walks with the family.  We enjoy playing at the park and walking around the track.

I am a big sweet tea fan and enjoy a good Dr. Pepper every once in a while.  I definitely have a sweet tooth, but have to even it out with salty snacks too.  I have lots of food favorites like brownies, ice cream, pretty much any chocolate, and just about any flavor of chips.  I would have to say my favorite colors are blue and purple.  Pink and blue green like to sneak in there too.

I am hoping that a familiar face will calm some back to school jitters and am excited to begin this new adventure with you.

Mrs. Cindy Wieberg

I love 4th grade so much I have taught it for over 20 years here at Russellville.  I have had the pleasure of having several siblings of former students and now the generation of former students' children.  As a class, we will read several picture books this year and discuss character traits. My favorite chapter book isSarah, Plain and Tall.

My family lives in California, Missouri.  My husband works for the Missouri National Guard.  My mom, Mrs. Zimmerman, retired from teaching here at Russellville.  She will be volunteering again this year.  You may be surprised to learn, I am a grandma to two grandsons that live near the school.  Karson, Zander and I like spending time outside walking the park, baking banana bread, and reading books together.

I love to travel.  I look forward to sharing my experiences with you.  My favorite places to travel are to historic sites.  I have toured many famous Missourian's homes.  Also, I will share my Pearl Harbor experience.  Some of my best Branson trips included Titanic museum, Butterfly Palace, Polar Express train ride, and a hot air balloon ride.    My summer was spending attending Stainglass theater and Arrow Rock productions.

Some of my favorite foods include pizza, popcorn, fresh fruit, Starbursts, gummy worms, and pink lemonade.

Our grade level has many fun activities planned, so let's enjoy learning together! As questions arise, please contact me.  I look forward to working with your child.
